Dear Parents and Students,

It is a matter of great honour to be a part of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan family: an
institute which is epitome of knowledge, wisdom, integrity and cultural diversity.
Education plays a major role in dissemination of culture which is achieved from one
generation to another. Cultures can potentially have a great impact on education as well
as social change. Culture is the social change of any character in society. The main
function of the educational system is to impart cultural heritage to the new generations.
Education influences preservation of culture, adapt changing cultural patterns and
moulds the personality of an individual. Education preserves unity amongst mankind
through culture. Hence culture and education are interwoven with each other. Culture
lays the path for education while education is responsible for flavouring the cultural
values in life. Therefore, both have to be interwoven in various ways.
As Rabindranath Tagore emphasized in his famous epic Gitanjali ‘where the
mind is without fear and the head is held high; where knowledge is free…’, the college
has adopted this in letter and spirit. The Academic and Administrative members are
eager to guide students throughout their academic journey in the college. Personality
development, sports, extracurricular activities are inherent components offered by
college to the students. The college strongly believes:
